How to Play Rope Chef

Rope Chef is a deliciously tricky physics puzzle. A chef dangles from a rope above the kitchen floor, and only your cutting skills can get the ingredients into the pots. Slice the ropes at the perfect moment so falling veggies, pans and rolling meatballs land exactly where they belong. Kitchen furniture turns every drop into a chain reaction — bounce off drawers, roll along counters and ricochet into place. Each level is a miniature machine: ingredients hang at different heights, furniture angles the fall lines and sometimes the chef himself is the counterweight. The physics engine is forgiving enough to allow creative solutions — a pan can knock a tomato into a pot you could not reach directly — which makes experimentation half the fun. Later kitchens stack three or four ingredients with a single rope budget, demanding sequenced cuts under time pressure. Charming art, crunchy sound effects and genuinely clever level design make it a cut above typical physics puzzlers.

Controls

  • Click / tap a rope: cut it
  • Time each cut so ingredients fall into the right pots
  • Use furniture bounces to redirect falling items
  • Complete every recipe to finish the level

Tips

  • Cut the topmost rope first and plan the chain downward
  • A rolling item beats a falling one for precision
  • When stuck, try bouncing ingredients off drawers instead of direct drops
